20 + years of muddy paws, wagging tails, and happy clients.

As a young girl, I was always surrounded by animals. From chickens and birds to cats, dogs and even a horse at one point, animals have always brought me joy. After moving from Squamish to North Vancouver in my early twenties, I found myself living in a building that did not allow pets. That’s when I realized just how much I missed having animals in my life, especially a dog to love and enjoy life with. In 2001 I left my job and decided to build a life doing what I truly love: being outdoors in nature with dogs.

That’s how Urban Dog began - just me and a few pups out on trail. What started as a one woman business has grown into a trusted dog walking and boarding service for North Shore families. Now, over 20 years later, Urban Dog is something truly special, built with passion and love for every dog in our care. We keep your dog active, safe and happy. We offer group walks, private walks, senior strolls, puppy visits, and boarding. All with the same care I’d give my own dog.

Speaking of which, I am also a local mom of two teenage boys and a lovable yellow lab named Logan, who’s basically the unofficial Urban Dog mascot. (aka Boss Dog Logibear)
